Description

We are looking for a Growth Operations Manager who will manage a team that organizes, uploads, and publishes content and data to our website, ecommerce platform, and CRM.

In this role, you would be responsible for managing the content on our marketing website and ensuring that the right content and products are being published live. You will also own the maintenance of our CRM (customer database). Your team will be responsible for:

  • Taking requests to create/edit website pages (and be provided all of the copywriting and imagery) in our Content Management System (we use Contentful) - no coding is needed, but the job does require a lot of meticulous copy-pasting. 
  • Creating/publishing/unpublishing products and coupons in our ecommerce platform
  • Organizing and managing the content calendar which identifies when pages and products will be published, unpublished, or updated
  • Creating and maintaining automations and tagging in our CRM to ensure customers are labeled properly based on their website activity
  • Coordinating with marketing, design, and business teams to ensure that everything is in place for new product and page launches
  • Creating and managing the process for new requests for new content that needs to be published
  • Managing and updating our automated testing suite to align with changing content on the website

This role is highly collaborative and in the intersection of all a startup’s operations. You would be a close collaborator with:

  • Marketing (Product Marketing Manager, Growth Marketer, Copywriters)
  • Design (Graphic designers, UX designers)
  • Product (Product managers)
  • Business (Finance)

Strong candidates will have experience managing complex projects with parallel timelines (e.g. event management, program management, project management, publishing), have high attention to detail and organizational skills, and experience working with and learning new tech tools (e.g. Wordpress, Mailchimp, Contentful, Google Analytics, etc). Coding experience is not required. We welcome candidates whose experience is in non-profit organizations, community organizations, or college clubs. Strong writing skills are a plus. Previous experience managing a small team (1-2 people) is a plus.

This is a vital role on the Pathstream product team and has the opportunity to grow into a strategic management position. 

This is a full-time position which can be remote or based at Pathstream’s headquarters in downtown San Francisco, CA (or a flexible combination of the two).

  • Able to efficiently create/edit/publish pages on our website with accuracy and organization: Experience managing website content is ideal
  • Able to organize and manage a content calendar: Experience with project management, event management, or publishing is ideal
  • Highly organized and values attention to detail: Experience with detail-oriented work is ideal 
  • Native comfort with learning new tech tools: Experience learning and using multiple tech tools (e.g. Wordpress, Contentful, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc) is ideal
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with stakeholders: Experience collaborating and gathering requirements from other internal team members is ideal
  • Effective manager and communicator with team members: Experience leading small teams in a large number of small tasks is ideal.
  • Comfortable in a rapid-growth, fast-changing startup environment: Experience in a dynamic setting such as a startup or other fast-growth organization 
  • We welcome candidates whose experience is in non-profit organizations, community organizations, or college clubs. Strong writing skills are a plus.
