Hannover Fairs USA is the US subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, AG, one of the world’s largest trade show organizers. Hannover Fairs has a growing, dynamic office located in Chicago, IL, and is building up its team for event growth and launches in 2022. Our portfolio includes world-renown brands serving the manufacturing, commercial vehicle, renewable energy and flooring markets, in addition to the fire service, and we are looking for hungry, energetic candidates to add to our team.

Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will work with event leadership and be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns to drive participation and engagement with our events. In the role you will own and execute the multi-channel strategies – print and web ad, direct mail and e-mail campaigns, web sites and content and social media – to culminate our customer’s journey in participating in our events.

This position reports to the Show Manager

Job Responsibilities

- Understand our brands and their value proposition to the markets they serve.

- Contribute to annual event strategy development.

- Development and execution of event marketing strategy

- Management of event marketing budget

- Maintenance of event websites

- Oversee development of event creative.

- Association and Partner development

- E-mail deployment

- Social Media execution

- Analysis of all marketing activities – ensuring efficiencies and delivery against goals.

- Oversee attendee list management and segmentation.



Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree

- Minimum of 2 years marketing experience

- Tradeshow experience

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent writing and oral communication skills

- High attention to detail

- Social media experience

- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task

- Ability to work independently.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

- Can do attitude, someone who enjoys and rises to a challenge.

Currently we are working from home on Mondays & Fridays and in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
